Our Story

Big Texas Stop started with a simple problem, not everyone lives near a Buc-ee's, and honestly, that's a real loss.

If you've ever driven through Texas, you already know what we're talking about. That first stop, the wall of snacks, the jerky case that goes on forever, the fudge, the gummy bears in every flavor you didn't know existed. It's the kind of place people plan road trips around, not just stop at because they need gas.

We're based out of Alabama, and we got tired of hearing from friends and family who moved away from the south, or who just never had a Buc-ee's anywhere close, asking the same question over and over. "Can you just send me some Beaver Nuggets?"

So that's exactly what we started doing.

How It Actually Works

We're not a warehouse, and we're not guessing what you might like based on some catalog. Every single item on this site was bought in person, off the actual shelf, on an actual trip. We walk the aisles, fill the cart, and get every order packed and shipped within 48 hours, so what shows up at your door is the same thing you'd have grabbed yourself if you were standing there.

No middlemen, no old inventory sitting around, just the real thing, sourced the same way you'd source it if you lived five minutes from an exit.

Who We Are

We're not a big company. Right now, it's just us, doing the sourcing runs, packing the boxes, and shipping them out ourselves. That means when you order something, a real person picked that exact item off the shelf for you.

As we grow, that's not going to change, we're always going to be the ones who actually go get it, not a warehouse full of stock we never touched.
